FULL BODY SCAN
Extended description:
The Full Body Scan gives you an extensive picture of your body.
The check-up examines the main vital organs and blood vessels by using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), sonography, and computer tomography (CT).
The goal of these examinations is to discover possible signs of common diseases (mainly heart-circulatory problems, vascular abnormalities, and the presence of tumors) at an early stage.
The Full Body Scan checks for the following:
A more comprehensive illustration of your health is achieved by supplementing the Full Body Scan with lab testing and the Cardioprogram Plus.
The stomach and intestines can not be tested with the Full Body Scan. The intestine, dependent on the age of the person examined, should undergo a (virtual) colonoscopy and the stomach a possible gastroscopy to insure that tumour presence may not remain undetected. The Full Body Scan requires half a day.
* In case of contraindication regarding the CT examinations, the doctor will advice alternative examinations for the respective organs.
